The Sandia Valley is located in the Puno region, nestled within the mountainous terrain of the southern Peruvian Andes. Blessed with a tropical climate and a rich natural environment, the area is defined by its surrounding mountains and ever-flowing rivers. These conditions are ideal for coffee cultivation, earning the Sandia Valley a reputation as a source of exceptionally high-quality Peruvian coffee.

This lot consists of the Bourbon variety. After harvesting, the cherries undergo a washed process that includes 36 hours of fermentation, followed by drying on raised beds in the shade, away from direct sunlight. This slow drying process—taking approximately 18 days—ensures uniform moisture loss while preserving the coffee's inherent aroma and sweetness.

---

A classic, unpretentious coffee that embodies the quintessential coffee experience. Notes of cacao, almond, and chocolate harmonize beautifully with a bright, citrus-like acidity. It is the perfect choice when you simply want a delicious cup of coffee or wish to return to the fundamentals.
